On Friday, March 23rd 2012, I attended “Blog About It” at venue 4605. The event was a networking event for Philadelphia bloggers and their followers. I met lots of great people and made some great connections. But what I loved most about the evening was the positivity. Everyone was there to learn about one another and share whatever resources they had. There was no competitive spirit because there is room for all of us! Thank you Zsavon of Simply Z Events for hosting a great event. Linking with this group of people inspired me to stay connected on twitter with my readers and all the people I met that evening. During the event, each blogger got the oppurtunity to go on stage and talk about their blog. Each blogger talked about their blog content and why they started their blog. Everyone had their own unique story. When it was my turn to talk I was very nervous but the positive vibe in the room made it some what easy to speak in front of the crowd. There were also giveaways sponsored by the various blogs, some were for the bloggers and some for the readers. Jimmy won free tailoring from Fashion Love Affairs and my friend Clarence won free laundry service from Got Laundry? Overall the event was a blast and I met lots of fun people like Brian and Jarrod of The CuffLink, Melissa of Positively Shining, Chasing Joy, Adrianne of Same Story Different and many others!
